Accessibility statement
Last updated 13 October 2026
This statement covers the Fairpool website and app, including the pages workers use to see their own tip records. We want everyone who manages or receives tips to be able to use Fairpool, including people who use a keyboard, screen reader, magnification or voice control.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. So far we have built Fairpool to:
- work with a keyboard alone, with a "skip to content" link and visible focus;
- label every form field and announce errors and confirmations to screen readers;
- use text and colour combinations that meet WCAG AA contrast;
- use layouts designed to reflow on small screens and when zoomed; and
- let you download your records as CSV or JSON files to use in your own tools.
Compliance status
Fairpool is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA. Automated accessibility checks run on our main pages before each release, but we have not yet had an independent audit or completed testing with a full range of assistive technologies, so there may be problems we do not know about.
Reporting a problem
If something is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email support@fairpool.example with the page address and what happened. We aim to reply within 2 working days and will tell you how and when we will fix it. If you are a worker, your venue can also export your records for you.
If you are not happy with our response
Under the Equality Act 2010, service providers must make reasonable adjustments for disabled people. If you are not happy with how we respond, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS). The Equality and Human Rights Commission enforces the Equality Act in England, Scotland and Wales. In Northern Ireland, contact the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland.
How we prepared this statement
We prepared this statement on 13 October 2026 from our own testing, including automated checks with axe and keyboard-only testing. We will review it at least once a year and after any major change to Fairpool.
