Fairpool

UK hospitality · Tips Act 2023

Share every recorded tip by hours and role.

Fairpool is software for pubs, restaurants and hotels. Record card, cash and service charge, split the pot by hours and role weights, and keep the records the Act requires.

100% to workers

Fairpool shares every penny you record. No admin skim, no card-fee haircut.

One venue, one pool

The Act treats each place of business separately. Fairpool never mixes The High Street site with the harbour site.

Paid next month

Allocated tips must reach workers by the end of the following month. Deadlines sit on every pot.

Written policy and records

Publish your method from a template, record each tip and share, give a worker their own record when they ask, and export your records any time.

Pricing

One plan, every feature, priced per venue. 30 days free for up to 5 venues, no card needed.

One plan with every feature. Each venue is billed at the band your total number of venues falls in.
VenuesPer venue / month
1–9 venues£29
10–49 venues£25
50–199 venues£22
200+ venues£19

Adding a venue never lowers your bill: 10–49 venues cost at least £261 (the price of 9), 50–199 venues cost at least £1,225 (the price of 49) and 200+ venues cost at least £4,378 (the price of 199) a month.

Fairpool is software, not legal advice. The Employment (Allocation of Tips) Act 2023 and the statutory Code of Practice decide what is fair; you decide how your venue shares tips.

Already pay tips through an independent tronc? In Fairpool your business decides the shares. HMRC treats that as the employer being involved, so National Insurance becomes due on tips that were free of it. Talk to your payroll adviser before you switch.
